Chapter 181

The live stream cut off suddenly when Jasper collapsed, but by then, no one really cared about the outcome anymore.

Even the judge seemed over it. Sure, the video Isabella provided was sketchy since it was recorded secretly and couldn't be fully used as evidence, but the contract was enough to show Jasper, Mia, and Bianca were in cahoots.

The crowd went nuts, cursing out Jasper and Mia. They'd been duped into thinking Isabella was the villain, but now it was clear she was the real victim.

The judge kept banging his gavel, trying to calm everyone down, but someone had already chucked a shoe at Mia.

"Everyone, chill out! Anyone causing trouble will be kicked out!" the judge warned, pounding his gavel.

The big shots from the three great families stayed quiet in the audience.

Paxton knew the trial was pretty much over with Jasper's collapse. No point in sticking around, so he turned and left.

Mason looked calmly at John, who was clearly freaking out.

"You're calling Bianca, right? Did you get through? Didn't she say the recording was fake? So, is this video fake too? Are the contracts the cops found at Jasper's place fake as well?" Each of Mason's questions hit John like a punch.

"Maybe there's some misunderstanding," John muttered through clenched teeth.

Mason let out a long sigh, like all his energy just drained out of him.

Charles looked at Mason with concern. "Mr. Williams, do you need to step out for a bit?"

Mason waved him off and looked at John. "The truth is right in front of you, and you still don't believe it. Isabella was right; you're a real idiot."

With that, Mason turned away. John gritted his teeth and stormed out.

Charles watched John leave, then turned back to Mason, who had his eyes closed, clearly not planning to stop him.

Charles sighed to himself and turned to the trial, waiting for it to conclude.

After Jasper collapsed, people rushed to check on him. Some thought he was faking it, while others figured he really passed out from anger.

Either way, the trial couldn't go on. Mia, seeing the writing on the wall, rolled her eyes and fainted onto Jasper.

The bailiff whispered to the judge, "Sir, they might be faking it."

The judge glanced at Isabella and motioned her over.

"Your parents might be pretending. What do you want to do next?" he asked quietly.

Isabella looked at her unconscious parents, then at the judge, and smiled. "Give me a minute. I want to say one last thing to the media before you send my parents to the hospital."

The judge nodded, banged his gavel to quiet the room, and then Isabella stepped in front of the cameras. "Before coming here, my parents announced online that they were cutting ties with me. Honestly, I am deeply disappointed in them! Since they are now unconscious, I will finish what they started. I, Isabella, hereby declare that I have no further relationship with Jasper and Mia. From now on, we are strangers."

As she finished speaking, the reporters' cameras went wild, capturing every moment.

The judge banged his gavel again and stood up to announce, "Due to the unconscious state of Jasper and Mia, the trial is adjourned! Arrange for an ambulance to take them to the hospital immediately."

With a wave of his hand, Jasper and Mia were promptly lifted and carried out.

The online sensation ended with a dramatic twist. After the adjournment, reporters swarmed Isabella, bombarding her with questions.

Joseph had planned to congratulate Isabella on her victory, but the reporters surrounded her, making it impossible for him to get close.

He could only stand at a higher point outside the crowd and wave. When Isabella looked over, he made a phone call gesture.

Isabella smiled and nodded at Joseph, who then turned and left the scene.

After dealing with the reporters, Isabella and Juniper left the courthouse.

"Thank you for your help, Ms. Fox," Isabella said, smiling and extending her hand to Juniper.

Juniper shook her hand and joked, "I don't think I did that much this time. Besides using my PR connections to get more attention, my part wasn't as big as your recording."

The incident had already garnered significant public interest, and the presence of the three major families, combined with Juniper's PR influence, had brought the matter to a peak.

Juniper thought Isabella's story would stay in the headlines online for at least a week, maybe even a month.

At that moment, Charles approached Isabella and Juniper, smiling. "Isabella, Ms. Fox, Mr. Williams would like to invite you both for a chat in the car."

Isabella nodded, but Juniper shook her head.

"My deal with Mr. Williams is done, and he probably just wants to say thanks. I'll let Isabella and Mr. Williams have some alone time. I have things to do, so I won't stick around. Tell Mr. Williams I'm sorry I missed it," Juniper said apologetically.

Charles nodded, not refusing her request. Juniper was right; Mason's invitation was simply to express his gratitude.

Once Juniper left, Isabella and Charles got into Mason's car.

Mason looked kindly at Isabella. "Isabella, you've been through a lot lately."

Isabella felt a warm sensation in her heart as she looked at Mason. Her biological parents wanted to drag her into the abyss, but this elderly man, who shared no blood relation to her, treated her like his own granddaughter.

"It's okay, Mason. From the beginning, I never really cared about Jasper and Mia. But what do you plan to do about Bianca?" Isabella asked curiously.
