Chapter 360

Olivia fell silent for a moment, her voice filled with coldness. "I'm assuming it was Jeremy," she said. "I secretly filmed Darcy and went to him for help. We met just a few days ago. No one else would have told Sam except him. After all, Mia is a descendant of the DeRoss family, and Jeremy is still part of that clan. I hate him so much!" Her voice was filled with a mixture of anger and fear, and it was clear how terrified she was of Sam.

Winnie didn't have time to ask if it was actually Jeremy who leaked the information, or if it was Lynn meddling in it. She immediately asked, "Are you safe now? Should I come over and help you?"

"No, you have to attend the wedding today. I'm hiding with my daughter and parents at home. Sam might not find us today. As for the video, don't worry. I've asked a friend to go to that hotel, and you can meet up with him later. He'll follow your instructions. Make sure the wedding of this bitch couple is spectacular."

Winnie sensed the nervousness in her voice and relaxed a bit. "I'll have Laura help you. By the way, Olivia, I had asked you to investigate Mr. Stewart from Island Electronics. How did it go?"

"Don't worry, I'll take care of it. The one who should have been eavesdropping hasn't escaped. You can use it directly when the time comes," Olivia confidently reassured her.

Winnie smirked and ended the call. She then changed into her formal dress, and took two invitations with her. She went to the adjacent apartment and knocked on her uncle's door.

Elliott was slightly hesitant. "Should I come too? Lawrence's wedding and with my status..."

Winnie raised her lip and smiled playfully, her eyes shining. "Uncle, you should go and see the fate of the Ordelia family. And you are Triton's honorary director. How is that a low status? Since Olivia won't come, so you'll have to accompany me."

Speaking of the Ordelia family, a flash of hatred crossed Elliott's eyes. "All right then."

At 11:40, the lawn of the seven-star hotel was filled with many dignitaries. Lawrence spared no expense for Darcy, and the two of them were gracefully dressed in their wedding outfits, attracting everyone's attention.

Winnie glanced over, her lips curling slightly, as she had her secretary push her uncle in a wheelchair out of the elevator. They bumped into Mr. Ordelia and Mrs. Ordelia across the corridor. The couple seemed happy, presumably heading to the bride's room.

Their eyes met, and there was no one else in the corridor. Mr. Ordelia walked over with a wicked expression. Since the last trial, Elliott was released on the spot, while the Ordelia family suffered a heavy blow. Mr. Ordelia despised Elliott and Winnie to the core. "A disabled member of the Granger family, and you still have the audacity to attend the grand wedding of the Ordelia Group. What right do you have?"

Elliott, sitting in a wheelchair, looked down at Mr. Ordelia, feeling inferior. He thought about how his father and sister had been swindled and killed by the Ordelia family years ago. He gritted his teeth, and his body was also shaking.

Winnie tapped his shoulder and presented the invitation with a smile. "Mr. Ordelia, having an invitation is adequate permission, isn't it? Your daughter sent me this invitation in secret, merely wishing for my admiration, correct? Furthermore, considering this is Lawrence's wedding, it's essentially your Ordelia family's domain, don't you think so?"

"We, the Ordelia family, are Lawrence's in-laws! Oh, I forgot that you are the abandoned one by Mr. Rodriguez," Mrs. Ordelia slyly said as she approached Winnie. Since the last time, she finally had the upper hand. She stared at Winnie closely. "You and your crippled uncle, be careful after today. Darcy is now Mrs. Rodriguez, and if the Ordelia Group wants revenge, it's not impossible to put a cripple like you back in jail."

Elliott's face turned pale. Three years of prison life was like hell, causing him to feel instinctual fear.

Mr. Ordelia observed Elliott's distressed appearance with satisfaction, then approached him and proudly declared, "Blame your niece for not being able to hold onto Lawrence. Do you know his identity? As his father-in-law, I will dominate Trento City in the future! It won't be difficult to let your Granger family come to an end."

Elliott's hair stood on end. Winnie pushed the wheelchair away and stopped her uncle while smiling ambiguously at Mr. Ordelia. "Mr. Ordelia, let's wait and see." She then gracefully waved her hand at them. The secretary pushed Elliott onto the lawn. Winnie reassured her uncle, and Elliott grabbed her wrist, his eyes filled with unease. "The Ordelia family is seeking revenge for what happened last time. A seemingly weak position can be stronger than it appears, especially when he has Lawrence as his son-in-law for support. I am afraid for my life, Winnie."

"But he needs to a son-in-law in order to be able to do any harm. Do you think this wedding can take place today?" Winnie replied with a smirk on her face.

"Are you saying, Winnie..." Elliott looked up.

Winnie remained calm, squinting and smiling. "Let them have their moment today as they won't get another chance."

Watching Winnie leave, Mr. Ordelia immediately called Darcy, who was in the bride's room. "Daughter, why did you give the invitation to Winnie? I'm not too confident about her presence."

"Father, don't worry. I intentionally gave her the invitation. If she didn't come, I would be worried. Before she tries to cause any trouble, I have arranged something significant for her. Just wait and see!" Darcy's tone was both happy and gloomy as she hung up the phone. It was absolutely necessary for her to have Winnie present.

On the lawn, Lawrence held a glass of red wine and was talking with Bob, who had arrived not long ago. Bob stood tall and handsome, quite similar to Lawrence. Standing together, their resemblance was evident, befitting those who held the ultimate power.

Bob scrutinized his son for a while, a pleased smile appearing in his eyes. Finally, he patted his shoulder and said, "Lawrence, these are a few directors from the Rodriguez family conglomerate. Today is a joyful day for you, and I have some significant gifts to offer. Please don't decline them. Additionally, after the wedding, there are some truths I'd like to share with you."

With a stern expression, Lawrence took a sip from his wine glass and remained silent.

Bob continued, "It's a pity that your mother can't be present on such a happy day. By the way, have you visited her?"

"I went last night. My mother is unlikely to wake up from her coma," Lawrence responded calmly. He hadn't told his mother about his marriage to Darcy last night. After all, his mother had always been fond of Winnie and had never seemed to warm up to Darcy.

In the corner of his eye, Lawrence suddenly noticed a gleam as he glanced toward the entrance. He was stunned to see that Winnie was present at his wedding. The woman appeared slender and delicate, clad in a dark blue gown that accentuated her fair, radiant complexion. Her face, as captivating as an enchanting fairytale, bore a subtle touch of makeup. Her eyes mirrored the tranquil waters of a springtime pond, where the boundary between warmth and chill blurred seamlessly.

He couldn't believe that she was there as he hadn't sent her an invitation. Soon, Alan stood next to Winnie, followed by several young talents who were captivated by her beauty. Lawrence's absent gaze snapped back abruptly, instantly feeling suffocated as if a sponge was expanding in his chest. Wherever she went, she would always draw attention. His eyes grew chilly as he tightened his grip on the glass.

"That's your ex-wife. Why are you still looking at her? Darcy will be coming out soon," Ray reminded him disapprovingly. Benjamin and Jeremy stood silently to the side, without saying a word.

"Why did she come?" Ray asked again, discontented.

"I don't know," Benjamin replied.

As more influential figures arrived at the entrance. Lawrence held his wine glass and walked over, engaging in socializing.

"Isn't that Winnie? She actually came to attend her ex-husband Lawrence's wedding. Impressive," remarked someone.

"In this day and age, what's so surprising? She's also Triton's female CEO, fair-skinned, beautiful, and has a little money. Haven't you noticed several men wanting her socials? With her looks and figure, she won't have trouble getting remarried."

Listening to these idle gossips along the way, Lawrence suddenly became angry.
